The travel themed baby shower is a very cute theme, that works for just about everyone. It can be a baby shower for a boy, girl, or be neutral for those waiting to be surprised. We threw a travel themed baby shower for my sister in July and it turned out so cute. The other thing I will say about baby showers is I feel social media has taken things to another level. It feels like if you don’t have a balloon arch and cute desserts from the top bakery, did you even have a shower? Honestly, I love a theme and I think it is so fun to put things together, but I am always very budget concious when throwing a party and recognize to make things nice, but work with that you have! If you plan on doing the same theme, here are some ideas!
Travel Baby Shower Decorations
- Adventure Awaits Banner – Hung this under one of our pop up tents as a way to bring the theme in.
- Display Easles – We used this for our welcome sign, we printed the welcome sign at walgreens.
- Mini Suitcases – We tied these around clear vases and put candles or flowers inside the vases. We try to keep things very simple, but this was a cute and simple way to bring in the theme.
Trave Baby Shower Food
Honestly do whatever food is easiest for you. We had a summer shower so we were able to grill out brats and burgers. I reccommend doing whatever is easiest for you and just put cute signs by the food. We also did little airplane and globe cut out cookies as favors for the guests.
- Airplane Cookie Cutter – Much easier to front I would reccommend this cookie over the globe.
- Globe Cookie Cutter – Very cute but a pain in the but to frost with the details.
